Research interests

The LHCb Experiment at the Large Hadron Collider, the world's most powerful particle collider, located at CERN.

  • Searches for physics beyond the Standard Model via precision flavour measurements
    • Tests of the Lorentz structure of rare B meson decays
    • Searches for lepton number violating processes
    • Tests of lepton universality
  • Real time analysis and trigger
  • Development of tracking algorithms and detectors
  • Visualization of collisions inside the LHCb detector

An introduction to the research program of the Emmy-Noether group can be found here. A more indepth overview article on searches for physics beyond the Standard Model was published in the October 2018 issue of the Physik Journal (Link in German). A more recent and detailed review can be found in Progress in Particle and Nuclear Physics 120 (2021) 103885 (arXiv:2107.04822).
